Garbage and recycling › Guide to hazardous waste › Where to take hazardous waste
Bring unwanted hazardous household products such as pesticides, leftover paint, solvents and automotive fluids to one of Metro's hazardous waste facilities. We'll recycle them or dispose of them safely.
If you live outside Metro boundaries or if you have business-generated waste, call 503-234-3000 for options.

There is no fee to drop off hazardous waste from your home. Businesses that generate less than 220 pounds of hazardous waste can enroll in Metro's Conditionally Exempt Generator (CEG) program.
There still is a charge for drums 10 gallons or larger and an initial enrollment fee for the sharps container exchange program.
