A map of Metro's six council districts can be downloaded for free in JPG and PDF format. A 34" x 48" printed map can be purchased online for $30.
Metro’s six council districts are geographically compact and of equal population (within 2.5 percent of 217,000, the average district size). The six districts were adopted by the Metro Council on June 24, 2001, as the result of a November 2000 ballot measure that changed the structure of the agency and the number of districts. A task force held public hearings and received comments from elected officials, agency staff, residents from around the region and a 19-member citizen review committee in developing recommendations for the redistricting.
