To apply for a Metro or Metropolitan Exposition Recreation Commission position, you must follow the specific application procedure for the position to which you are applying.
The complete job announcement and application form may be accessed and downloaded from the main jobs web page at www.metro-region.org/jobs.
Metro only accepts applications for positions that are currently open.
Application materials can be downloaded from a link at the end of each job announcement posted on our web site. Application packets can also be picked up from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday in Metro’s Human Resources Office located at 600 NE Grand Ave., or call 503-797-1570 to request application materials be mailed to you.
Read and follow the application procedure listed in the job announcement carefully. Most recruitments have required supplemental questions that must be answered and submitted along with the appropriate application materials. Applications will not be accepted without the required supplemental questions. Resumes are not accepted, except when requested as part of the application procedure.
Submit your completed application materials, including answers to any required supplemental questions, to Metro’s Human Resources Office by 5 p.m. on the deadline date.
Under Oregon Law, qualified veterans may be eligible for veteran's preference in application for Metro/MERC positions.
